Bed bug inspections
The tricky thing about bed bugs is that they are very clever at hiding. It’s one of the things these parasitic insects do particularly well. Without wings or a way to fly away, bed bugs rely on being small enough to hide in the tiniest of cracks within a wooden bed frame or the smallest crease within a mattress. Finding bed bugs is crucial in getting rid of bed bugs and just missing two of them can cause those two bed bugs to reproduce and start a brand new infestation.
Fortunately, Lady Killers Pest Control bed bug inspections are done by our highly trained professionals who can find all of the hiding places. Our bed bug specialists know the latest methods and tools to track down bed bugs throughout a property and offer solutions to get rid of bed bugs in all life stages.

Where do bed bugs hide?
Bed bugs got their name because they prefer to hide and feed near people who are sleeping. However, they will also hide in places like sofas, carpeting and other areas where they can hide and eventually crawl over people who are relatively still and feed upon them. Just a couple of bed bugs will feed on blood and use the protein from the blood meal to reproduce and quickly become an infestation.
Bed bugs will then hide behind picture frames. They can hide in electrical sockets. They are very tiny insects and can hide in a small crack in wooden bed frames or within the creases of mattresses. Bed bugs can hide in clothing on the floor, or within carpet fibers.
What do bed bug bites look like?
Lady Killers Pest Control bed bug inspection process
At Lady Killers Pest Control, our highly trained bed bug specialists know where bed bugs hide. We use the latest methods and tools to crawl into the smallest places, pry open the electrical sockets, search beds, bedding, clothing and carpeting to find where the bed bugs are hiding.
Lady Killers Pest Control, in most areas, will also use bed bug sniffing dogs. Dogs have much more sensitive noses than humans and bed bugs tend to have a distinct odor when they infest a home or business. Humans can also detect this scent, but only after the bed bug infestation has become extremely serious. Bed bug dogs can detect the scent even with a few bed bugs in the building.
